I had a chance to ride with the Mountain Bike club this evening, and had a really great time! Carrie and the girls went to visit Mame and Bop (that would be Carrie’s parents… no idea how those names came about), and I got a chance to get out and ride.

This was today’s ride. The ride along the Tussey Mountain trail (also called the ridge trail) was really great. Beautiful views, rolling terrain and a smattering of tricky rock gardens all made for a good time. Then a super fast descent on the Camp trail made me remember why I love this sport so much.
Get out and ride… you won’t regret it!

Nice! Yesterday was a gorgeous evening. That’s a great loop. Glad you made it out! How many people usually show up for the NMBA group rides?

Last time I did a Thursday night ride there were probably 15 or so. Last night there were only 6, but it was great fun. The Thursday ride is mostly advanced beginners, so the pace is not too crazy, but the fun is definitely there. The people are really friendly, I’m riding with some of them tomorrow morning at Coopers Gap, you interested? It won’t be a real hard ride, but I’m sure it’ll be a good time.

Sorry I missed your comment until now. It was Ieva’s and my anniversary yesterday though, so I wouldn’t have been able to make it out (keep me posted though! I’m always looking to ride more). We had a great day, biked to Bellefonte, drank some nice beers at the grill there, and took a nap in the park. My kind of bike trip

Sounds great! I think that’s the first time I’ve heard abount one of your adventures that didn’t tempt death… did you ride without your helmet??
